    Proman Stena Bulk построит инновационное судно, которое сможет работать на метаноле

    Stena Prosperous через 2-3 года после передачи отдадут Proman Shipping в долгосрочный тайм-чартер

    Швейцарская компания Proman Stena Bulk Ltd подписала соглашение о строительстве еще одного судна в рамках совместного предприятия. Планируется, что судно Stena Prosperous, использующее метанол в качестве судового топлива, будет передано в эксплуатацию во II полугодии 2022 года, сообщает пресс-служба Stena.

    Stena Prosperous пополнит флот Proman Stena из двух судов этого же проекта – Stena ProPatria и Stena ProMareКаждое судно будет потреблять 12,5 тыс. тонн метанола в год, что значительно сократит выбросы при обычных коммерческих операциях.

    Судно этого проекта имеет дедвейт 49,9 тыс. тонн. Его силовая установка спроектирована для перехода на метанол в случае необходимости, после ряда конструктивных и технических усовершенствований, направленных на оптимизацию энергетической и топливной эффективности. В новейших двухтопливных двигателях MAN будет применена новая технология водо-топливной эмульсии, которая значительно снижает выбросы окислов азота без использования дорогостоящей технологии каталитического преобразования.

    Суда также будут оснащены новейшими технологиями повышения энергоэффективности, включая постоянно контролируемое горение топлива, оптимизированную настройку, оптимизированные обводы корпуса и энергетический валогенератор, снижающий расход топлива и помогающий соответствовать строгим экологическим требованиям по выбросам.

    После передачи судна Stena Bulk будет использовать судно Stena Prosperous в рамках своего танкерного пула в течение 2-3 лет. Оно станет первым судном с двухтопливным двигателем, работающим на метаноле, которое будет предоставляться судовладельцем на рынке транспортировки химических грузов/светлых нефтепродуктов без действующего контракта производителю метанола. По истечении этого начального периода с Proman Shipping будет заключено соглашение на долгосрочный тайм-чартер танкера Stena Prosperous.

    Отмечается, что метанол уже доступен более чем в 100 портах по всему миру, в том числе во всех крупных бункеровочных хабах. Это топливо является полностью биоразлагаемым и безопасным при транспортировке, обеспечивающим сокращение выбросов диоксида углерода (CO2), полностью устраняет оксиды серы (SOx) и твердые частицы, а также сокращает выбросы оксида азота (NOx) на 60% в сравнении с обычным судовым топливом.

    Stena Bulk является одним из крупнейших международных танкерных перевозчиков. Офисы компании расположены в семи странах мира. Stena Bulk имеет общий флот включающий около 110 танкеров. Stena Bulk входит в группу Stena Sphere, численность персонала которой составляет более 20 тыс. сотрудников с оборотом в 60 млрд шведских крон ($8 млрд).

Proman Shipping управляет флотом из 13 зафрахтованных танкеров-химовозов, а также еще 3 строящихся танкера.
