    Ассоциация морских торговых портов АСОП поздравляет с юбилеем председателя Совета директоров АСОП Виталия Южилина!

    Ассоциация морских торговых портов поздравляет с юбилеем Виталия Александровича Южилина – председателя Совета директоров Ассоциации морских торговых портов!

    Стаж работы Виталия Александровича в морской отрасли исчисляется с 1988 года. В.А. Южилин начал свою работу в отделе океанологии Института биологии южных морей им. А.О. Ковалевского Академии наук Украинской ССР, продолжил инженером в отделе океанографии Морского гидрофизического института АН УСС, с 1997 по 1999 годы – член Совета директоров ОАО «Морской порт Санкт-Петербург».

    В 1999 году Виталий Александрович впервые был избран депутатом Государственной Думы Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации по Ленинградской области.

    Будучи избранным несколько созывов подряд от города Санкт-Петербурга, В.А. Южилин работал в составе Комитета Государственной Думы по бюджету и налогам. Все годы совместно с федеральными органами, областной, городской и местными администрациями он активно и настойчиво работал над решением социальных проблем территории, развитием портовой инфраструктуры Санкт-Петербурга и России в целом.

    За 1999-2008 годы в Ленинградской области при непосредственном содействии Виталия Александровича были построены: очистные сооружения в г. Гатчина и Гатчинском районе; больница, спортивный комплекс, хоккейный стадион и дорога в г. Сосновый Бор; поликлиника в г. Луга, очистные сооружения, медицинский комплекс в г. Волосово и другие объекты.

    С 2002 года и по настоящее время – председатель Совета директоров Ассоциации морских торговых портов.

    Члены Совета директоров Ассоциации отмечают, что только после того, как Совет директоров возглавил В.А. Южилин, процессу формирования проекта Закона «О морских портах» был придан действенный импульс, развернута широкомасштабная работа над формированием текста Закона, подключены лучшие юристы в области морского права, ведущие специалисты отрасли, депутаты Государственной Думы. Являясь членом Комитета Государственной Думы по бюджету и налогам, Виталий Александрович Южилин сумел за короткий срок в составе группы депутатов выработать идеологию изложения законопроекта, профессионально отработать текст каждой статьи, пройти все сложные инстанции согласования и внести проект Закона на рассмотрение Государственной Думы. В ноябре 2007 года принят важнейший для отрасли Федеральный закон «О морских портах в Российской Федерации и о внесении изменений в отдельные законодательные акты Российской Федерации».

    Являясь председателем Совета директоров Ассоциации морских торговых портов, В.А. Южилин проводит активную планомерную работу, направленную на повышение конкурентоспособности российских портов.

    Неоценим вклад Виталия Александровича и в развитие транспортной инфраструктуры города Санкт-Петербурга – на Васильевском острове в октябре 2008 года был открыт крупнейший пассажирский порт в Европе. По итогам работы в 2009 году на международной круизной выставке Пассажирскому порту «Санкт–Петербург «Морской Фасад» было присвоено звание лучшего транзитного пассажирского порта в мире.

    Сегодня в России успешно продолжается реализация крупнейших проектов, связанных с модернизацией всей портовой инфраструктуры.

    Значимый персональный вклад В.А. Южилина в развитие транспортной отрасли отмечен многочисленными наградами. Руководитель Федерального агентства морского и речного транспорта А.И. Пошивай выразил благодарность Виталию Александровичу за многолетнюю добросовестную работу и в связи с юбилеем.
