    Евросоюз финансирует проект CHEK по сокращению выбросов с судов при рейсах на дальние расстояния

    Проект предусматривает разработку концепции балкера и круизного судна, использующих симбиоз энергетических технологий

    Технологическая группа Wartsila в составе консорциума, возглавляемого финским университетом Вааса, примет участие в проекте, направленном на снижение вредного воздействия судоходства на окружающую среду. Как говорится в сообщении группы, проект, названный CHEK (deCarbonising sHipping), который задействует симбиоз технологических энергетических решений при разработке эскизных проектов судов, получил финансирование от Евросоюза в размере 10 млн евро.

    Средства выделяются в рамках исследовательской и инновационной программы Horizon 2020.

    В консорциум, помимо университета и группы Wartsila, входят BAR Technologies, Cargill Ocean Transportation, Climeon, Deltamarin, Hasytec Electronics, Lloyds Register, MSC Cruises, Silverstream Technologies и World Maritime University.

    Целью проекта CHEK является сокращение выбросов с судов за счет комплексного использования низкоуглеродных энергетических схем и технологий. К ним относятся использование бункерного топлива на основе водорода, энергии ветра, электрических батарей, системы рекуперации тепла, создание воздушного слоя в подводной части корпуса судна и новых технологий защиты от обрастания. В проект также включены опытно-конструкторские работы по проектированию и эксплуатации судов.

    В рамках проекта будут разработаны две концепции судов двух типов: балкерного судна, которое будет использовать паруса для использования силы ветра; круизного судна, использующего двигатель, разработанный Wartsila, работающий на водородном топливе.

    Участниками проекта подсчитано, что за счет объединения новых и инновационных технологий, выбросы парниковых газов могут быть сокращены на 99%, экономия энергии может составить не менее 50%, а выбросы сажи могут быть сокращены более чем на 95%. Несколько ключевых из перечисленных технологий будут продемонстрированы на практике на реально действующих судах.

Центр интеллектуальных технологий компании в Ваасе - это новый современный инновационный центр, ведущий исследования, разработки и производство, нацеленные на создание решений для достижения более экологичного мира. Эта инициатива дополняется платформой Smart Partner Campus Wärtsilä, через которую все заинтересованные стороны могут принимать участие в совместном создании взаимовыгодных решений», – говорится в сообщении Wartsila.

    Помимо разработки и испытаний судового двигателя на водородном топливе, вклад Wartsila в рамках проекта будет состоять: в системной интеграции для обоих судов, включая гибридные технологии, систему накопления энергии и подключение берегового источника питания; разработке модульной силовой установки с использованием различных видов топлива для снижения его расхода и оптимальной эффективности; внедрении новой рулевой системы для повышения маневренности и эффективности; оптимизации маршрута для балкерного судна с вспомогательными парусами, чтобы максимально эффективно использовать прогнозируемые направления и силу ветра.

    Запуск проекта CHEK планируется на весну 2021 года. Полученные результаты при разработке проекта двух судов также могут быть применены при создании других типов судов: танкеров, контейнеровозов, судов для перевозки генеральных грузов и паромов. В рамках проекта также будет проведена подготовка будущих сценариев и анализ факторов, влияющих на потенциал развития низкоуглеродного судоходства, таких как существующая инфраструктура.
