    В Марий Эл до 2024 года построят первый в регионе пассажирский причал

    Его возведут в Козьмодемьянске, стоимость работ составит 300 млн руб.

    Первый в Республике Марий Эл пассажирский причал на Волге планируют построить до 2024 года в Козьмодемьянске. Проект будет реализован по индивидуальной программе социально-экономического развития региона, передает ТАСС со ссылкой на организационно-аналитическое управление главы республики.

    «Необходимость строительства причала в Козьмодемьянске вызвана отсутствием портовых сооружений на всем протяжении Волги в границах Республики Марий Эл, с учетом расположения вдоль русла реки пяти крупных населенных пунктов Республики Марий Эл. Кроме того, отсутствие пассажирских причалов на указанной территории является сдерживающим фактором развития туристкой инфраструктуры», - сказали в управлении.

    В министерстве промышленности, экономического развития и торговли Марий Эл отметили, что в конце декабря прошлого года был заключен контракт с АО «Группа компаний «ЕКС» на выполнение работ по разработке проектной и рабочей документации.

    Строительство причала запланировано на 2022-2023 годы. Проект строительства причала входит в индивидуальную программу социально-экономического развития Республики Марий Эл на 2020-2024 годы, утвержденную 8 апреля прошлого года.

    Также в организационно-аналитическом управлении главы региона уточнили, что в настоящее время пассажирские перевозки осуществляются грузопассажирской паромной переправой Козьмодемьянск - Коротни. Сейчас причальные сооружения, принимающие до 200 тыс. человек ежегодно, являются временными и имеют существенные ограничения по количеству и видам принимаемых судов и пассажиропотоку.

    На строительство причала планируется направить 300 млн руб. Проект будет включать в себя ограждения, небольшой зал ожидания, освещение, скамейки, а все постройки выполнят в едином архитектурном стиле. Переход от причала к пешеходной дороге будет частично состоять из надземного пешеходного перехода. Это позволит беспрепятственно пересекать техническую дорогу, по которой осуществляется перевозка грузов.

    Козьмодемьянск - второй по величине туристически привлекательный город в республике. Через него проходят два маршрута, входящие в состав федерального туристического проекта «Великий волжский путь». В организационно-аналитическом управлении главы Марий Эл уточнили, что на город приходится 20% от общего числа туристов и экскурсантов региона, что составляет примерно 120 тыс. человек ежегодно.
