    «Совкомфлот» и Shell провели 150-ю операцию по СПГ бункеровке «зеленых» СКФ

    Операция была выполнена на рейде порта Канаверал

    Группа компаний «Совкомфлот» и концерн Shell организовали юбилейную, 150-ю операцию по морской бункеровке крупнотоннажных танкеров зеленой серии СКФ газомоторным (СПГ) топливом. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба СКФ.

    Танкер «Проспект Королева», выполняющий рейс из Дании в один из американских портов Мексиканского залива, принял на борт 600 тонн СПГ-топлива с бункеровщика Q-LNG 4000. Операция была выполнена на рейде порта Канаверал (штат Флорида, США).

    «Проспект Королева» находится в тайм-чартере у компании Chevron, которая изучает возможность дальнейшего использования двухтопливных танкеров в рамках своей грузовой программы.  

    С начала операций по СПГ-бункеровке зеленых танкеров «Совкомфлота» в 2018 году, эти суда суммарно получили в рамках контракта СКФ и Shell более 62 тыс. тонн СПГ-топлива. Все 150 бункеровочных операций были проведены безопасно, без происшествий и разливов топлива.

    По оценке СКФ, использование танкерами зеленой серии СПГ-топлива позволило с 2018 года суммарно сократить выбросы CO₂ в атмосферу с этих шести судов более чем на 56 тыс. тонн, или в среднем более чем на 14% в год.
     
    «Мы рады тому, что успешное партнерство «Совкомфлот» и Shell способствовало развитию мировой инфраструктуры СПГ-бункеровок, в том числе в стратегически значимых для морской торговли регионах, начиная с Северо-Восточной Европы и Балтики в 2018-2019 годах и заканчивая недавними бункеровками в США и на Средиземном море», - отметил Главный операционный директор ПАО «Совкомфлот» Сергей Поправко.

    Генеральный директор Shell Global Downstream LNG Тахир Фаруки считает, что судоходной отрасли следует без промедления внедрять наиболее чистые виды судового топлива.

    «Сегодня СПГ – оптимальный выбор: он позволит отказаться от ввода в строй судов с высоким уровнем выбросов на период, пока идет активная работа по разработке углеродно-нейтральных видов топлива. Мы гордимся тем, что с момента бункеровки первого в мире «Афрамакса» на СПГ-топливе, танкера «Проспект Гагарина», в порту Роттердам в 2018 году, мы безопасно выполнили большое число таких операций. Сегодня наш флот бункеровочных судов СПГ охватывает 13 портов в девяти странах, и мы планируем расширять эту сеть дальше», - рассказал он.

    Группа компаний «Совкомфлот» – одна из ведущих в мире компаний по морской транспортировке газа и нефти, а также обслуживанию морской добычи углеводородов. Собственный и зафрахтованный флот, включая суда совместных предприятий, насчитывает 145 судов общим дедвейтом свыше 12,6 млн тонн. Более 80 судов обладают ледовым классом.

    Долгосрочная стратегия «Совкомфлота» предусматривает последовательное снижение углеродного следа от эксплуатации флота. Компания начала работу по внедрению СПГ в качестве основного топлива для крупнотоннажных танкеров в 2015 году, и в 2018 году первой в мире приступила к эксплуатации танкеров типоразмера «Афрамакс» на СПГ-топливе. Сегодня в состав флота СКФ входят шесть таких судов (серия «Проспект Гагарина»), еще пять танкеров на СПГ-топливе различных типоразмеров находятся в стадии строительства.
