    Зафиксировано 68 инцидентов в море за 6 месяцев 2021 года – отчет IMB о пиратстве

    Это самый низкий показатель за 27 лет

    Международное морское бюро (IMB) в последнем отчете о пиратстве фиксирует 68 инцидентов в мире за первое полугодие текущего года, что является самым низким показателем за 27 лет (с 1994 года), сообщает Российский профессиональный союз моряков (РПСМ).

    В том числе: 61 раз преступники смогли высадиться на борт, совершили четыре попытки нападения, два теплохода обстреляли и один угнали. Для сравнения, за шесть месяцев 2020 года было зафиксировано 98 случаев пиратства и ограблений судов в мире.

    Однако, несмотря на общее снижение количества зарегистрированных инцидентов, насилие в отношении членов экипажей в течение первой половины 2021 года продолжалось.

    Так, похищено 50 моряков, троим угрожали и взяли в заложники, подвергли нападению двоих, ранили одного, одного убили.

    Как отмечается в сообщении, на фоне сокращения числа зарегистрированных происшествий IMB предостерегает отрасль от самоуспокоения, так как в 91% зарегистрированных инцидентов преступникам удалось попасть на борт судна.

    По данным IMB, Гвинейский залив остается самым опасным местом для торгового судоходства: 32% всех известных происшествий имели место в этом регионе.

    В Сингапурском проливе было зарегистрировано 16 инцидентов за первые шесть месяцев 2021 года. В семи случаях преступники имели при себе ножи, в трех отдельных инцидентах моряки подвергались угрозам, нападениям и ранениям.

    В Перу, количество инцидентов в 2021 году увеличилось в два раза: зарегистрировано в общей сложности девять происшествий. Во втором квартале текущего года здесь произошли четыре инцидента, в трех из которых применялось холодное оружие.

    Судам рекомендуется принимать меры предосторожности во время стоянки в Манильском заливе (Филиппины), поскольку IMB получило четыре сообщения об инцидентах в регионе во втором квартале 2021 года.

    IMB настоятельно призывает всех капитанов и операторов судов своевременно информировать круглосуточный Центр сообщений о пиратстве IMB о любых действиях, направленных на теплоходы или экипаж.
