    ABB оснастит паром Tallink Megastar для получения электропитания от береговой сети

    Megastar станет вторым паромом Tallink Grupp, оборудованным технологией ABB

    Компания ABB получила контракт на поставку оборудования, которое позволит рейсовому парому Tallink Megastar во время ночной стоянки в порту Таллинн подключаться к местной береговой электросети, сообщает пресс-служба оператора паромного флота Tallink Grupp.

    Передача парома Megastar заказчику состоялась на финской верфи Meyer Turku в 2017 году. Грузопассажирское судно может одновременно перевозить до 2,8 тыс. пассажиров и 646 автомобилей.

    Пассажирский и автомобильный паром Megastar, использующий в качестве судового топлива сжиженный природный газ (СПГ), совершает три рейса, курсируя между столицами Эстонии и Финляндии, и на ночь остается в порту Таллинн. Во время стоянки дизельгенераторы продолжают работать, обеспечивая электроэнергией все бортовые системы. Теперь технология ABB поможет покрывать потребности в электроэнергии от береговой станции.

    Оборудование для подключения к береговым сетям будет введено в эксплуатацию в январе 2022 года. После этого паром Megastar, курсирующий на паромном маршруте, станет вторым судном в составе флота Tallink, которое оборудовано системой ABB для подключения к береговой энергосети. Второе судно, MyStar, сейчас строится на верфи Rauma Marine Constructions в Рауме (Финляндия). Паром будет передан в эксплуатацию в 2022 году и будет оснащен на верфи по этой же технологии. Оба парома будут использовать береговые энергосистемы ABB, установленные в 2020 году в гавани Старого города порта Таллинн. Разработанное в соответствии с международными стандартами, технология энергоснабжения автоматизирует процесс подключения парома к береговой сети при соблюдении стандартов безопасности и надежности.

    Снабжение электроэнергией от береговой инфраструктуры во время стоянки судов положительно скажется на качестве воздуха в порту, считают в Tallink Grupp.

    ABB занимается оборудование судов системами подключения береговой энергосети с 2001 года. На сегодняшний день технологическая компания ввела в эксплуатацию или получила подряд на ввод в эксплуатацию технологии подключения к сетям на 150 судах различных типов, включая паромы, круизные лайнеры, контейнеровозы, СПГ танкеры и другие. Компания также оборудовала несколько новых круизных лайнеров распределительным щитами, чтобы подключаться к береговым источникам питания, как только необходимая инфраструктура появится в портах захода.

    AS Tallink Grupp является одним из ведущих операторов грузопассажирских судов в северном регионе Балтийского моря.
