    ZIM возьмет в тайм-чартер дополнительно пять двухтопливных судов вместимостью по 7 тыс. TEU

    Общее количество зафрахтованных ZIM экологичных контейнеровозов составит 15 единиц

    Израильская судоходная компания ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. воспользуется своим опционом по контракту (июль 2021 года) и возьмет в долгосрочный тайм-чартер у с Seaspan Corporation дополнительно пять контейнерных судов. Эти суда оснащены двухтопливными двигателями для работы на газомоторном топливе и имеют вместимость по 7 тыс. TEU, говорится в пресс-релизе ZIM.

    В соответствии с заключенным в июле 2021 года соглашением ZIM возьмет в тайм-чартер 10 аналогичных контейнеровозов, которые должны быть поставлены, начиная с IV квартала 2023 года, и в 2024 году. Таким образом, с учетом опциона общее количество судов, которые будут зафрахтованы в рамках этой сделки составит пятнадцать контейнеровозов. Стоимость опциона для ZIM составит более $750 млн.

    ZIM Integrated Shipping Ltd., основанная в 1945 году, является одним из крупнейших перевозчиков контейнерных грузов. В настоящее время израильская судоходная компания владеет парком различных типов контейнеров общим объемом 547 тыс. TEU и специальных контейнеров. Общая грузовместимость флота ZIM из около 80 судов (собственных и зафрахтованных) составляет 344,460 TEU. Суда компании совершают заходы в 180 портов и 10 перевалочных пунктов по всему миру. В более чем 170 офисах в 100 странах работает 4,2 тыс. сотрудников ZIM. Владельцем 32% акций ZIM является Kenon Ltd. и 68% принадлежат финансовым учреждениям и судовладельцам Израиля.
