    НЭС «Михаил Сомов» вышло из Архангельска на Чукотку в рейс по обеспечению полярных станций

    Судно с экспедицией пройдёт по Северному морскому пути до острова Врангеля

    Научно-экспедиционное судно (НЭС) Северного УГМС «Михаил Сомов» 15 сентября 2021 года вышло из Архангельска на Чукотку в рейс по обеспечению полярных станций Росгидромета. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба Северного УГМС.

    Арктическая экспедиция продлится около двух месяцев. НЭС «Михаил Сомов» доставит на труднодоступные гидрометеорологические станции Северного, Якутского и Чукотского УГМС топливо, продовольствие, расходные аэрологические материалы, строительные материалы, ДГА и другой груз, а также смену полярников (всего - 32 станции).

    Судно с экспедицией пройдёт по Северному морскому пути до острова Врангеля через шесть арктических морей: Белое, Баренцево, Карское, Восточно-Сибирское, Чукотское море и море Лаптевых.

    Из Архангельска на НИС стартует очередной арктический этап экспедиции «РоссиЯ — 2021». Оператор из Краснодара Александр Кащеев, журналист из Уфы Рустам Сиразетдинов и архангельский фотограф Андрей Паршин пройдут вдоль северных границ страны по Северному морскому пути и тем самым выполнят очередной этап масштабной комплексной экспедиции по 50 регионам России. Экспедиция «РоссиЯ - 2021» — проект Русского географического общества, Федерации спортивного туризма и Министерства просвещения России.

    Также на «Сомове» идет в рейс экстремальный журналист, корреспондент ТАСС - Вера Костамо, которая подготовит серию репортажей о сотрудниках метеостанций и полярниках.

    На Мысе Челюскин с ОГМС им. Е.К. Федорова на борт «Сомова» сядет известная путешественница и журналистка, чемпионка по спортивному туризму Марина Галкина, которая пробует пересечь Таймыр от пос. Сындасско в Хатангском заливе до мыса Челюскин. «Сомов» доставит ее в Тикси.
