  КТМС ратифицировала 101 страна

  Россия ратифицировала КТМС в 2012 году
  
  Конвенцию о труде в морском судоходстве (КТМС) с поправками, по состоянию на 31 марта 2022 года, ратифицировало 101 государство-член Международной организации труда (МОТ). Об этом рассказала президент Всемирного морского университета (WMU) Клеопатра Думбия-Генри, сообщает Российский профессиональный союз моряков (РПСМ).
  
  Клеопатра Думбия-Генри отметила, что это «признание важности доставки грузов и товаров по всему миру и сохранения открытости глобальной цепочки поставок».
  
  В связи с этим она особо подчеркнула роль моряков торгового флота.
  
  «Сегодня, как никогда раньше, они заслуживают похвалы за обеспечение бесперебойного глобального судоходства: моряки позволяют всем нам получать товары и предметы первой необходимости, в которых мы нуждаемся и которые так часто принимаем как должное. Я воздаю дань уважения всем странам, которые подписали конвенцию, и призываю власти государств, которые этого еще не сделали, ратифицировать этот важный и исторический документ», - подчеркнула она.
  
  Напомним, что КТМС была принята на 94-й сессии Генеральной конференции МОТ в Женеве 23 февраля 2006 года. К 20 августа 2012 года 30 стран с общим валовым тоннажем более 33% ратифицировали документ, обеспечив выполнение двух обязательных условия для его вступления в силу.
  
  Россия ратифицировала КТМС в 2012 году.
