  ZIM и Shell заключили контракт на бункеровку СПГ сроком на 10 лет и стоимостью более $1 млрд

  Топливо будет необходимо новым контейнеровозам, которые будут введены в 2023-2024 годах

  Израильская судоходная компания ZIM Integrated Shipping Services подписала с Shell соглашение о поставках сжиженного природного газа (СПГ) для бункеровок своих судов сроком на 10 лет. Стоимость контракта на поставку топлива превышает $1 млрд, сообщила пресс-служба судоходной компании.

  Shell обязуется поставлять газомоторное топливо десяти СПГ-судам которые будут размещены на основном тихоокеанском сервисе ZIM Container Service Pacific (ZCP) на маршруте Азия‒USEC. По графику десять контейнеровозов по 15 тыс. TEU будут приняты в эксплуатацию в течение 2023-2024 годов. Суда будут перевозить грузы из Китая и Южной Кореи к восточному побережью США и в Карибский бассейн.

  Контракт с Shell может также включать и другие контейнерные сервисы, где будут работать суда ZIM на СПГ.

  ZIM Integrated Shipping, основанная в 1945 году, является одним из крупнейших перевозчиков контейнерных грузов. Израильская судоходная компания владеет парком различных контейнеров вместимостью 547 тыс. TEU и специальных контейнеров. Компания управляет флотом из 100 судов, большинство из которых в долгосрочном тайм-чартере. Суда компании совершают заходы в 180 портов и 10 перевалочных пунктов по всему миру. Владельцем 32% акций ZIM является Kenon Ltd., 68% принадлежат финансовым учреждениям и судовладельцам Израиля.
