    Проект LCO2 танкера, разработанного MOL и Mitsubishi Shipbuilding, получил одобрение от DNV

    Ранее DNV выдало аналогичное одобрение проекта газовоза LCO2, разработанного южнокорейским судостроителем SHI

    На выставке Gastech-2022, проходящей в Милане (Италия), состоялась церемония вручения представителям судоходной группы Mitsui OSK. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) и судостроительной компании Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (MHIMSB) сертификата DNV «одобрения в принципе» проекта судна для перевозки сжиженного CO2 (LCO2) вместимостью 50 тыс. куб. м, разработанного двумя японскими компаниями, говорится в пресс-релизе DNV.

    MOL и MHIMSB совместно разработали проект морского газовоза LCO2, а концептуальная проработка проекта была закончена в ноябре 2021 года. После проверки безопасности перевозки топлива с помощью методики распознавания рисков HAZID, обе стороны подали заявку на получение сертификата одобрения. DNV выдало одобрение в соответствии с нотацией класса «1A Tanker for liquefied CO2». При оценке проекта учитывались требования правил DNV для танкеров перевозящих сжиженный газ (июль 2021 года), а также кодекса постройки и оборудования судов, перевозящих сжиженные газы наливом IGC.

    AiP («одобрение в принципе») используется многими классификационными обществами для оценки и утверждения новаторских идей, решений, не подпадающих ни под одно общепринятое классификационное правило. AiP является независимой оценкой концепции проекта в согласованных рамках, подтверждающее, что представленный проект реализуем, и нет существенных препятствий, мешающих реализации данной концепции. Одобрение в принципе обычно проводится на ранней стадии разработки проекта, чтобы подтвердить его осуществимость для самой проектной организации, руководства компании, внешних инвесторов или будущих регуляторов.

    MOL является транспортной мультимодальной группой компаний, которая управляет сетью еженедельных линейных и логистических сервисов по всему миру, включая транс-тихоокеанский, транс-атлантический, североамериканский и южноамериканский и азиатско-европейский. Действующий флот группы включает 742 судна разного назначения общим дедвейтом 54,7 млн тонн.

    Созданная в январе 2018 года в рамках группы Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) компания Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (MHIMSB) объединила судостроительные мощности в Нагасаки, Кобе, Шимоносеки, Хиросиме и Иокогаме. В настоящее время MHIMSB специализируется в разработке проектов и строительстве различных типов морских судов.
