    В западной гавани порта Хельсинки (Финляндия) завершено монтирование системы берегового энергоснабжения

    Работы по монтажу распределительного оборудования для обеспечения судов электроэнергией, подаваемой с суши (OPS), в настоящее время завершены в Западной гавани Хельсинки, по обе стороны Западного терминала 2. Как указано в сообщении администрации порта, в настоящее время причалы используются компаниями Eckerö Line и Tallink для рейсов в Таллинн.

    Порт Хельсинки в настоящее время предоставляет услуги в центральных гаванях Хельсинки всем линейным судам, которые регулярно посещают Хельсинки и остаются на швартовке в течение длительных периодов времени. Движение судов в Таллинн осуществляется со временем оборота менее часа, но суда могут использовать OPS, когда они останавливаются на ночь в Хельсинки.

    Когда судно прибывает к причалу, подключается к береговой энергосистеме и выключает свои вспомогательные двигатели, это приводит к значительному сокращению вредных выбросов. Более широкое, чем раньше, обеспечение береговой электроэнергией является одной из важнейших мер в рамках программы углеродной нейтральности порта Хельсинки. Наибольшего положительного воздействия на окружающую среду можно добиться, в частности, при регулярном движении лайнеров, но в будущем в Хельсинки услуги OPS будут предоставляться также круизным лайнерам и грузовым судам.

    Порт Хельсинки — один из крупнейших портов Финляндии, крупнейший пассажирский порт в стране и третий по величине на Балтике. Через Хельсинки проходит 77% пассажирских перевозок в Финляндии. Грузооборот порта Хельсинки в 2020 году составил 13,3 млн тонн.
