    HMM заказала девять контейнеровозов с двухтопливными двигателями

    Стоимость контракта оценивается в $1,12 млрд

    Южнокорейская судоходная компания HMM разместила заказ на девять контейнеровозов вместимостью по 9 тыс. TEU с двухтопливными двигателями и возможностью работы на метаноле. Контракты на строительство подписаны с Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries (HSHI) и HJ Shipbuilding and Construction (HJSC), сообщает пресс-служба HHM.

    В июле 2022 года HMM представила свою долгосрочную стратегию, направленную на то, чтобы стать лидером мирового судоходства. В качестве одного из пунктов стратегии значится конкурентоспособный флот.

    Согласно соглашению, HSHI и HJSC построят семь и два судна соответственно общей стоимостью $1,12 млрд. Контейнеровозы планируется использовать на торговых путях Азия — Латинская Америка. Ожидаемый срок сдачи судов — с 2025 по 2026 год.

    HMM Co., Ltd. является интегрированной транспортно-логистической и судоходной компанией. Владея флотом из 138 судов, компания обслуживает более 50 морских маршрутов и осуществляет судозаходы в более 100 портов по всему миру. По вместимости флота HMM является 10-й крупнейшей контейнерной линией‎. Вместе с Hanjin Shipping (до банкротства) операторы перевозили почти все экспортные грузы в Южной Корее.‎ В 2022 году консолидированная чистая прибыль HMM составила $7,9 млрд, увеличившись на 88,6%. Продажи выросли на 35% в годовом исчислении до $14 млрд.
