In January-August, throughput of stevedoring companies of Autonomous Republic of Crimea fell by 7.4% to 7.797.2 mln tonnes of cargo, the Republic’s Main Statistics Department reports.
In the 8-month period, turnover of vessels amounted to 1,400 units (-36.1%, year-on-year) with vessels owned and chartered by foreign companies accounting for 84.2% of the total number.
