Crude-futures price soars to $80.82 in London, in New York, to $81.34

As of August 2nd, IPE Brent Crude futures contract price surged by $2.64 to $80.82 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. Light Sweet Crude rose by $2.39 to $81.31 p/bl on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
