The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Turkey signed on Tuesday, 25 January 2011, an agreement to organize an international direct freight rail-ferry service, the official website of Ukraine government reports.
The agreement provides for "terms and conditions for the smooth transportation of goods, rolling stock crossing through the territories of the States, the use of port infrastructure," the report says.
Representatives of the two countries have agreed to carry out a competitive and mutually beneficial tariff policy to promote effective use of international direct freight rail-ferry service between the ports of Ukraine and Turkey.
