Danish carrier Maersk Line has released fixed annual surcharges for the duration of 2013. The surcharge rates, controlled by Maersk Line are effective from January 1, 2013.
"We have reviewed all the surcharges that fall under the first category (surcharges contolled by Maersk Line - Ed.), and various surcharge tariffs have been revised to meet the changes in cost and market conditions. These new surcharge levels will now be fixed for 2013. The only exception to this rule will be actions by third parties or authorities that necessitate a revision," the Company press release said.
