Development of Russia’s Baltic ports will be driven by LNG projects, Victor Olersky says

The development of Russia’s Baltic ports has been completed in general, IAA PortNews reporter cites Deputy Transport Minister of Russia Victor Olersky as saying today at the Forum of Dredging Companies organized by media-group PortNews.

According to Victor Olersky, further “targeted” development of those ports will be driven mainly by the creation of terminals for LNG transshipment and bunkering.

We remind that the latest large port project in the region is the construction of Bronka port in Saint-Petersburg.
