On July 29, 2015, Aleksandr Galushka, RF Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East, held a meeting dedicated to implementation of the investment projects in the Khabarovsk Territory subject to the state support. According to the Ministry’s press center, there are two infrastructure project of this status in the region: construction of coal terminal at port Vanino and boosting coal production and construction of coal-preparation plant at Urgalskoe field.
Coal terminal project with private investments of RUB 19.07 bln is run by Sakhatrans LLC. State support of RUB 3.277 bln supposed for infrastructure development includes RUB 499.5 mln of current year allocations.
The second project is initiated by Uralugol OJSC. Private investments – RUB 23.7 bln. State support for infrastructure development – RUB 1.549 bln.
Total tax revenues for the treasury under the two projects will exceed RUB 38 bln in 2014–2025, the Minister says.
