The first hull of a 1,450-ton container ship for the Dutch company Rensen Shipbuilding BV has been launched on the site of the Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association ('Lotos' Plant), FIS reports according to RZD-Partner.
The ship is intended for the transportation of containers conforming to international standards. The ship's characteristics are: weight - 1,450 tons, maximum length - 110 m.; maximum width - 17.10 m; side height - 5.70 m, class - river-sea.
