    On March 12-14, 2014 Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the capital of Russia’s Kamchatka region, will host International business conference dedicated to the creation of a largest in the Asia-Pacific Region multimodal logistics complex (MILC) with developed infrastructure and traffic network. The event is organized by Transit-DV Group in conjunction with the Ministry for the Development of Russia's Far East region.

    The goal of the conference is to consolidate the efforts of the public and private sectors to implement strategic investment projects aimed at modernization and development of sea ports in the Russian Far East.

    The conference will address to following main topics:

    The Tranzit-DV Group, with the participation of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, is holding a conference from March 12-14 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the capital of Russia’s Kamchatka Region. The conference theme is the creation of a major new logistics complex in the Asia-Pacific Region with developed infrastructure and traffic network. The goal of the conference is consolidation of the efforts of the public and private sectors to implement strategic investment projects focused on the modernization and development of ports in the Russian Far East.
    The main topics of the conference include:
    Seaports in the Primorsky and Kamchatka regions: experience, opportunities, prospects and development of sea transport;
    Use of the Northern Sea Route in the global transport services market;
    State programs for investment support and development of the Russian Far East;
    Analysis of the situation on the Russian and global container transport and bunkering markets;Conference
    Prospects for port hub development and multimodal carriage;
    Maritime insurance issues.
    Conference participants will include representatives of Russian federal ministries, the Kamchatka Regional government, representatives of the Border Guard Service of Russia, the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Sanitary Control, the Federal Marine Administration, Russian and foreign bunker traders, Russian and foreign ship owners, and other participants.
    The working portion of the conference is scheduled for the first two days, with the third day set aside for rest and relaxation while enjoying the great natural beauty of Kamchatka

    Participants: The conference will bring together representatives of Russian federal ministries, the Government of the Kamchatka Krai, the Border Guard Service of Russia, the Federal Customs Service of Russia, the Port Sanitary & Quarantine Control, the Port Authorities, Russian and foreign bunker suppliers, ship owners and others.

    The conference programme includes a two-day working session with the last day reserved for recreation, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky sightseeing & nature tours.
