RAO/ CIS Offshore - 11th International Conference and Exhibition for Oil and Gas Resources Development of the Russian Arctic and CIS Continental Shelf is held on 13-16, September in St. Petersburg, Russia.
In 1997 the RAO conference united with the CIS-Offshore exhibition. Is held once in two years and according to Evgeny Velikhov (Member of Correspondence of the Russian Academy of Sciences, First Deputy of Head of United Russia Faction) «RAO/CIS Offshore is considered to be the central industry event of national and international scales»
Over 500 delegates from 19 countries participated in 10th anniversary International conference and exhibition RAO/ CIS Offshore 2011. As a result it was carried the resolution of Conference, published the Proceedings which is highly valued by leading Russian and international fuel and energy companies. Currently the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on assignment of the national status to the conference is going to be adopted
During RAO/ CIS Offshore the special attention will be paid to geological works and development of oil and gas resources in Russian Arctic and Far East shelf, regulatory framework for design, construction and operation of oilfield facilities in the shelf area, environmental and industrial safety systems in extreme conditions. One of the important topics is effective international cooperation in Arctic and Far East offshore
Leading international fuel and energy companies will present new projects of oil and gas resources development during the exhibition in Mikhailovsky Manege (Winter Stadium).
RAO/ CIS Offshore 2013 provides an opportunity not only for full discussion of achievements and development problems in continental shelf, new technologies of oil and gas production in extreme conditions of northern seas but delegates, exhibitors and visitors will be able to lead business negotiations within the framework of the Partnering system.
