The First Conference “LNG Fleet and LNG Bunkering in Russia” was held in Moscow on 25 October 2017. The conference was organized by Media Group PortNews and Krylov State Research Center and with the assistance of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Gazpromneft Marine Bunker supported the event as its General Sponsor; DAMEN Group and Valcom were the Conference Sponsors. The event was attended by more than 100 specialists from Russia, the Netherlands, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Among the 16 reports delivered at the Conference was that of Victor Olersky, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation – head of the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot); Vitaly Klyuev, Director of the Department of State Policy for Maritime and River Transport of the Russian Ministry of Transport (live broadcast from London); Yury Kostin, deputy head of Rosmorrechflot; Elena Kvasnikova, representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Igor Tonkovidov, Executive Vice-President and Technical Director of Sovcomflot; Aleksandr Krasavin, representative of Glavgosekspertiza.
