5-month crude, petroleum products export via Primorsk unchanged, at 31.77m tons
Exports of Russian crude oil and petroleum products through the port of Primorsk (Leningrad Oblast) in January-May 2010 slightly decreased, by 0.16%, from the same period last year, settled at 31.771 million tons, the PortNews IAA reports citing in the Port Authority statistics.
In May, cargo turnover amounted to 6.83 million tons (+10% from May 2009). Crude and petroleum products volume that passed via the port terminal in May reached 6,416,000 and 502.200 tons accordingly.
Primorsk Commercial Sea Port is the top Russian North-West seaport transshipping exported oil and petroleum products. Port throughput in 2009 was reported at 79.157.2 tons of oil and diesel fuel. Last year 1.869 ships called at the port, 935 of them passing inward and 934 outward the harbor.
