Igor Levitin: The U.S. businesses would be willing to purchase Russian ports and airports
Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin has discussed with American businessmen the possibility of their investments in the Russian ports and airports, RZD-Partner.Ru reports.
"U.S. investors would be willing to acquire the Russian ports and airports in connection with the changes in the list of Russian strategic enterprises (some of the ports and airports have been removed from the list and could be privatized)", said Igor Levitin.
The Minister also said he had met with a group of companies, investors on the opportunities of attracting their investments in the Russian transport assets. It is of much interest for American businesses, they are especially attracted by large Russian airports and ports", the Minister said.
However, the American business does not yet have complete information on investment opportunities in Russia's transport infrastructure.
