Nibulon launches its grain terminal in Poltava
Nibulon LLC, a Ukrainian company has put into operation a new terminal for shipment of grain and oilseed for river transportation in the Gradizhsk town of Poltava region. This is the 3rd river terminal build by the company running its investment project, the Nibulon press service said.
The river terminal in Gradizhsk is one of the company’s two assets based in Globinsky district. The company has projected the construction of 8 elevator complexes in the Poltava region worth some UAH700 million.
Nibulon LLC had reportedly set aside for its several-year investment program up to $470 million (vs $150m announced last year). The company’s ambitious program includes building of its own fleet of 57 tugged and self-powered vessels (previously 24 ships), 14 sea going and river tugboats, 17 elevators (including 10 river terminals along the Dnieper, Southern Bug, and other rivers.
There have been 24 non-powered vessels and 3 tugboats, 2 Poltava’s elevator complexes and 2 river terminals operating in Poltava, Cherkassky and Zaporizhye regions.
