Konecranes beats 2008 sales budget
A "very good" market for reachstackers has lifted 2008 sales volumes for equipment manufacturer Konecranes Lifttrucks over budget.
Sales have been boosted by orders for four toploader reachstackers for the UK's Bristol Port, three for the Malcom Group, and a further three for KN terminal in Antwerp.
In 2009, the newly-developed inland trimodal container terminal at BASF in Antwerp will also take delivery of two of the world's largest reachstacker, Konecranes Lifttrucks SMV 4545 TB3.
