CMA CGM starts regular traffic to Scandinavia
The French-owned shipping company CMA CGM, the world’s third largest container shipping company with 337 vessels, starts in November regular traffic to Göteborgs Hamn and Helsingborgs Hamn. Feeder ships from the company will once a week traffic the line Zeebrügge–Göteborg–Helsingborg–Zeebrügge, where the cargo will be reloaded to oceangoing vessels to Shanghai and Xiamen, China. The transport Göteborg–Shanghai will require about 30 days.
– We are very pleased to get CMA CGM as a customer of Göteborgs Hamn. This means that we can offer Swedish companys an even better choice of shipping lines to important import- and export markets, says Magnus Kårestedt, CEO at Göteborgs Hamn, in a comment.
