Norwegian owners cancel 41 vessels in 2009
Norwegian owners have cancelled 41 vessels so far this year, to a total value of NOK 12 billion. And further cancellations are under negotiation, according to Bergens Tidende. 30 of the cancelled vessels were ordered at foreign yards, while the other units were ordered at Norwegian yards.
