Aegis’ engagement with British Gas recognized at UK’s NOA Outsourcing Professional Awards
Aegis Limited, a leading outsourcing and technology services company and part of the US$39 billion conglomerate Essar, today announced that it has been acknowledged with the key award for Best Offshored Outsourcing Team at the National Outsourcing Association’s (NOA) Outsourcing Professional Awards 2013. Aegis has been recognized for its transformational service excellence initiatives in delivering a robust, scalable, and cost-effective Customer Life-cycle Management Solution for British Gas – Great Britain’s largest providers of energy, gas, and electricity services, said in the company's press release.
Aegis’ award winning partnership with British Gas involved the standardization of processes and improving Net Promoter Score using domain expertise, superior quality methodology and understanding multichannel cultural nuances to ensure consistency in service delivery. Aegis brought in process efficiencies, automation, business centric quality practices and cultural affinity to the British Gas’ operations to enable a 30% reduction in operating costs and reduced sales leakage to less than 10%.
