Hyundai Merchant Marine revises two Pacific services
Following announcements by APL and MOL that they would begin direct calls to Vietnam, Hyundai Merchant Marine announced changes to two services linking Pacific ports to the U.S. West Coast.
Effective June 4, Hyundai will add a direct call to Ho Chi Minh City to the carrier’s Pacific Southwest Express service. The MOL vessels that operate in the service will call at the Saigon New Port terminal.
The port rotation will be Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Yantian, Los Angeles, Oakland, Tokyo, Xiamen, Da Chan Bay, Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition, Hyundai Merchant Marine is modifying its Pacific Southwest 1 service to include Port Kelang, Malaysia, and Yokohama, Japan, as well as Ho Chi Minh City. APL vessels are used in this service.
The port rotation is Port Kelang, Singapore, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh City, Yantian, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seattle, Vancouver, Yokohama, Kobe, Kaohsiung, Chiwan, Laem Chabank, Singapore and Port Kelang.
