Worldwide 533 ships laid up, 533 stillborn as orders cancelled
Marinenet Daily News has reported that contracts for over 533 newbuildings around the world, most recent ones being dry bulk vessels, have been annulled from January the end of May.

There were 533 ships idle representing 1.315 million TEU on June, a slight rise from 21 ships accounting for 1.304 million TEU, according to the Paris-based agency.
