  Экспедиционное судно «Михаил Сомов» завершило завоз грузов на полярные станции по трассе Севморпути

  Научно-экспедиционное судно «Михаил Сомов» (судовладелец ФГБУ «Северное управление по гидрометеорологии и мониторингу окружающей среды», Северное УГМС) завершило завоз грузов на полярные станции Росгидромета по трассе Северного морского пути. Как сообщает пресс-служба учреждения, 17 ноября судно вернулось из рейса в порт Архангельск.
  
  Рейс продлился более двух месяцев по акваториям 5 арктических морей: Белого, Баренцева, Карского, Лаптевых и Восточно-Сибирского. Самым восточным пунктом назначения «Михаила Сомова» стал поселок Ушаковский на острове Врангеля. Судно доставило специалистов, смену полярников, а также грузы на труднодоступные гидрометеорологические станции Северного, Якутского и Чукотского управлений гидрометслужбы.
  
  «Михаил Сомов» доставил материалы и рабочих для завершения работ по строительству новых зданий объединенных гидрометеорологических станций Северного УГМС на Амдерме и Диксоне. Строительство новых зданий ведется в рамках федеральной целевой программы «Развитие водохозяйственного комплекса РФ в 2012-2020 годы».
  
  В ходе рейса установлена и введена в эксплуатацию автоматическая метеорологическая станция на станции МГ-2 Ходовариха. Выполнены техническое обслуживание, поверка, замена датчиков и ремонт автоматизированных метеорологических комплексов.
  
  В течение рейса на борту судна работали члены Высокоширотной арктической экспедиции «Арктического и антарктического научно-исследовательского института Росгидромета» (ААНИИ). Ученые выполнили работы по теме «Экологический и микробиологический мониторинг прибрежных территорий российских арктических морей в районах расположения полярных станций Росгидромета». Кроме того, осуществлен завоз грузов на станцию ААНИИ на мысе Баранова.
  
  После разгрузки судно будет готовиться к доковому ремонту, который намечен на апрель-май 2015 года.
