  Atlantic Offshore Rescue провела церемонию крещения нового спасательного судна Ocean Falcon

  Ведущий оператор дежурных спасательных судов на морских месторождениях Atlantic Offshore Rescue 29 мая 2015 года  добавила третье новое судно за последние 12 месяцев в рамках программы модернизации флота на общую сумму 300 млн фунтов стерлингов, сообщает PR агентство ThinkPR.
  
  Многофункциональное аварийно-спасательное судно нового класса А (MRV / ERRV) Ocean Falcon будет работать по контракту с крупнейшим шельфовым оператором Великобритании. Atlantic Offshore Rescue будет выполнять спасательные функции, сопровождение танкеров и общую поддержку операциям на месторождении Curlew Field, в Северном море.
  
  На судне могут разместиться 21 человек персонала и до 300 эвакуированных рабочих с платформы. Проект судна предусматривает выполнение различных операций, включая буксировки (тяговое усилие - до 65 тонн). Длина судна – 66,80 м, ширина - 16 м. Движительная система включает два главных двигателя MAN мощностью 1,935 кВт каждый.
  
  Проект судна Ocean Falcon H820 был разработан инженерно-конструкторским бюро Havyard Ship Design. Оно было построено в сотрудничестве с заказчиком в Пассае, на испанской верфи группы Zamakona за 18 месяцев. Первые два судна этого же проекта - Ocean Tay и Ocean Osprey - были спущены на воду в феврале и мае 2014 года соответственно.
  
  Новое судно даст дополнительно 30 рабочих мест и станет одним из 11 аварийно-спасательных судов на новой базе компании, на арендуемой территории в Абердине (Waterloo Quay). Срок аренды, в которую инвестировано 3,5 млн фунтов стерлингов, составляет 10 лет.
  
  Atlantic Offshore Rescue Ltd. входит в  Atlantic Offshore Group (Норвегия). Численность персонала компании - 350 человек (около 330 матросов и 20 офисные сотрудники) предоставляет услуги и многофункциональные суда для международных нефтяных компаний, работающих в Северном море.
  
  Atlantic Offshore Group владеет флотом (включая 11 судов AOR) из 22 аварийно-спасательных судов и судов снабжения буровых платформ и управляет несколькими судами-снабженцами в интересах сторонних компаний.
