Russia and Belarus Intergovernmental Commission of is considering the redirection of the Polotsk refinery’s oil and refined products pipeline from the port of Ventspils (Latvia) to Ust-Luga (Leningrad region), PortNews reported citing the Commission’s copy of minutes.

Just recently the Transnefteproduct authorities have reported the volume of pumping oil to Ventspils this year will be maintained at the last year’s level amounting to 3.8 million tons of petroleum products.

The total length of the Polotsk-Ventspils oil products pipeline is 506 km, with 329-km through the territory of Latvia.
