Ship en route from St. Petersburg to Colombian Santa Marta, sinks off Spain coast

Kea ship, carrying cargoes and 24 crew members, sank 160 miles off the northwest coast of Spain. 22 crew members were reportedly rescued, two still missing, k2kapital reports.

There was a storm warning because of strong winds that had hit the north and north-western part of Spain. Rough seas hamper the rescue operation.

The Barbados-flagged cargo ship was bound for the Colombian Santa Marta seaport from St. Petersburg.
