The Danish company Unifeeder has announced it cancels from April 12th, all winter surcharges from all seaports of Estonia, Latvia, Russia and Finland, while keeping for indefinite time winter surcharge for ships calling at the port of Saint-Petersburg.

Unifeeder, the largest feeder services operator in Northern Europe has been in the market for over 30 years. The company operates its fleet of approximately 26 vessels of 500-1.500 TEUs. In 2008 Unifeeder sales volumes amounted to about €400 million.
