China to build a new railroad to transport coal China is planning to build a new railroad line for coal transportation, Transport Business reports citing the Ministry of Railways of China.
The new 300-km railroad will connect the port of Bohai and the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia, rich of coal mines. The railroad is expected to transport 50 million tons of coal a year. The railroad is scheduled to be completed in 2012.
