    Dryships в 2017 году пополнит свой флот своим первым супер-танкером газовозом

    DryShips Inc, крупнейший владелец танкерного и сухогрузного флота, приобретает свой первый танкер для перевозки газа типоразмера VLGC. Судно в настоящее время строится на верфи Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI). Сумма покупки составит $83,5 млн, говорится в сообщении судовладельца.

    DryShips профинансировала заключительную цену в размере $21,9 млн за счет части неиспользованной ликвидности под $200 млн возобновляемый кредит, предоставленный Sifnos Shareholders Inc. (Sifnos), который в настоящее время составляет $142,9 млн.‎ Остаток в размере $61,6 млн от покупной цены для танкера-газовоза будет выплачен в рассрочку до доставки судна с верфи HHI.

    VLGC будет затем передан в пятилетний тайм-чартер по фиксированной ставке одной из крупных нефтедобывающих компаний. Фрахтователь может продлить период фрахта на срок до трех лет. ‎

    DryShips планирует получить газовоз в июне 2017 года. От тайм-чартера компания ожидает получить до $92,7 млн, включая опцион на продление.‎

    DryShips Inc. является крупнейшим владельцем сухогрузных судов и танкеров, которые работают по всему миру. Через свою дочернюю компанию Ocean Rig UDW Inc., DryShips владеет и управляет 13 морскими глубоководными буровыми установками, которые включают две свехрглубоководные ППБУ и 11 сверхглубоководных буровых судов. Одно судно было передано Ocean Rig UDW в 2016 году, одно судно будет получено в течение 2018 года и еще одно судно - в течение 2019 г. DryShips владеет флотом из 39 сухогрузных судов, включая 13 судов типоразмера Capesize, 24 — класса Panamax и два — Supramax. Их общий дедвейт составляет около 4,3 млн тонн. В составе флота компании  нефтеналивные  танкеры: четыре судна типоразмера Suezmax и шесть танкеров класса Aframax, общим дедвейтом более 1,3 млн тонн.‎
