    Судзавод Baku Shipyard (Азербайджан) начал строительство двух паромов типа Ro-Pax

    Бакинский судостроительный завод Baku Shipyard приступает к строительству двух новых уникальных паромов типа Ro-Pax. Об этом рассказал министр экономики Азербайджана Шахин Мустафаев, передает Trend.

    Резка первых стальных листов состоялась 16 марта 2017 года.

    По словам министра, строительство судов планируется завершить до конца 2018 года.

    Проект будет реализован при господдержке: порядка 30% средств, предусмотренных для строительства этих паромов, будет предоставлено за счет средств государства.

    Контракт на строительство паромов на сумму 132 млн манатов был подписан в октябре 2016 года. Суда Ro-Pax будут построены по заказу ЗАО «Азербайджанское Каспийское морское пароходство». Проектировщиком по проекту выступает украинское ООО «Морское инженерное бюро».

    Паромы Ro-Pax предназначены для грузовых и пассажирских перевозок. Судно дедвейтом 5540 тонн будет иметь возможность загрузки на борт до 56 цистерн (12-метровых), 46 полувагонов (13,9-метровых), 44 грузовых вагонов (14,7-метровых), 50 грузовых машин, а также имеет 100 пассажирских мест.

    В настоящее время ЗАО «Азербайджанское Каспийское морское пароходство» имеет в своем распоряжении 13 паромов, два из которых суда типа Ro-Ro. Вместимость семи паромов составляет 28 вагонов, остальных шести паромов - 52-54 вагона.
