Saint-Petersburg will host Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo on September 14 - 16
Saint-Petersburg will host the Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo on September 14 – 16, say the organizers, Expo Solutions Group. The event will be held with the support of the Federal Fishery Agency.
Official delegations of more than 50 countries are invited to participate in the forum.
About 200 leading Russian and foreign companies will place their expositions in the exhibition pavilion with an area of more than 10 thousand square meters – they are fishing, fish-breeding and processing organizations, shipbuilding enterprises, manufacturers of equipment and related materials, logistic, trade and other companies.
The largest companies from Denmark, China, Belgium, Sweden, Iceland, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Germany, Great Britain and other countries will present their products, advanced technologies and equipment for the fishing industry. Among other companies there will be such main actors of the industry as “Alpha Laval”, “Yanmar”, “Baader”, “Nantong”, “Optimar”, “Simrad”, “Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet” and others.
Business program of the event will disclose basic trends that determine development of the up-to-date fish market, introduce the best practices of fishery business, throw light on the strategy and key parameters of the export-import policy of the Russian Federation, as well as represent the newest brands of the industry and present the national brand Russian fish. An important element will be the EAEC Business Forum with the topic: “New Fishery Vector of Cooperation”, which will cover marketing and statistics issues, long-term trend forecasts and security control, introduction of information technologies in the industry.
