Yevgeny Savkin appointed as Director General of Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Luga (photo)
Yevgeny Savkin was appointed Director General of Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad Region) by the decision of the Company BoD held on 26 December 2017. The decision was officially registered on 12 January 2018, says the company’s press center.
Mikhail Talanenko who had been heading the Company from 2014, resigned from the post of Director General on his own will in November 2017. Yevgeny Savkin was appointed Acting Director General of Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad Region) on 8 November 2017.
Yevgeny Savkin was born on 7 August 1979. He graduated from Saint-Petersburg University of Water Communications with specialization in Economics and Management, Ph.D. in Economics. Yevgeny Savkin has been working in the transport industry for more than 20 years. From 2007, Yevgeny Savkin is a head of PORT FLEET CJSC.
Commercial Sea Port of Ust-Luga OJSC is a stevedoring company operating multipurpose terminal YUG-2 and Auto-Railway Ferry Terminal. In 2017, the terminals handled 3.8 mln t of cargo.
