Port of Singapore throughput in 2018 grew by 0.4% Y-o-Y to 630.03 million tonnes
Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in 2018, increased by 0.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2017 to 630.03 million tonnes, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
Handling of oil cargo fell by 5% to 221.44 million tonnes, dry bulk cargo – down 9.5% to 16.84 million tonnes million tonnes.
Container traffic grew by 8.7% to 16.84 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in the South-East Asia. In 2017, the port handled 626.17 million tonnes of cargo.
