Order portfolio of Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex grew by 42% in IIH’2018
The backlog of orders of Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex grew by 42% in the second half of 2018. As of today, it comprises contracts for construction of 37 vessels, says press center of Rosneft.
Rosneft is an anchor customer of Zvezda. It has ordered 26 vessels including 12 shuttle tankers of Arc6 and Arc7 classes, four multifunctional ice-class supply ships and 10 Aframax tankers.
Gazprom has ordered three supply vessels, one passenger vessel for platform crews and one multifunctional vessel for servicing the offshore production complex.
FSUE Rosmorport has ordered one shallow-draft icebreaker with an option for construction of three more ships of the similar design.
Sovcomflot (SCF Group) has placed orders for construction of two Aframax tankers and MR-class product carriers.
Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex located in Bolshoy Kamen, Primorsky Region, is being created on the base of Zvezda Far-Eastern Plant by a consortium of Rosneftegaz, Rosneft and Gazprombank. The shipbuilding complex design provides for the construction of a heavy outfitting berth, a dry dock, full-cycle production shops, and shops for the construction of offshore marine facilities.
Zvezda Shipyard will produce heavy tonnage ships, offshore platform elements, ice-class vessels, special vessels, etc.
