Court acknowledges the right of Delta Service LLC for lease of berth No94 at the port of Saint Petersburg

Arbitrage court of Saint Petersburg and Leningrad region has recognized climes of Baltic Basin Response Department FSUE (BBRD) against Delta Service LLC (Saint Petersburg) to be groundless, PortNews IAA learnt from Pavel Greiner, Delta Service Director. The claim related the lease of berth No94 of the port of Saint Petersburg by Delta Service LLC. The berth is under economic control of BBRD. Our agreement is absolutely legal being registered at Municipal Registration Bureau. We are ready to defend it at higher authorities if BBRD files a claim to the Court of Appeal, Greiner says. According to him, Delta Service has no intentions to interfere with the activities of BBRD, as the company understands significance of the Department’s response operations.

BBRD refused to comment before it receives documentary proof the court’s decision (after February 16).

The lease agreement was signed in 2005 between BBRD FSUE and Delta Service LLC for 10 years. The berth is used by the company for transshipment of oil products and for bunkering of vessels. The claim was initiated by BBRD FSUE.
