In 2007 LUKOIL is going to invest $800mln in the modernization of the refinery, as it was informed by the president of the company V.Alekperov, AK&M reports.
The spending for this project exceeds half of the billion dollars a year.
Due to the building and launching of the new technological sets the high octane gasoline was above 75% of the total volume.
By 2016 LUKOIL relies to raise the refining capacities in Russia by 15-20mln ton/y and produce only high octane gasoline.
By 2016 the refining capacities of the Company should be up to 100mln ton/y. In the next 10 years $13.5-24.3bn will be invested in the refining sector. In 2006 the output was raised 5.6% to gain 95.2mln ton.
