    Грузооборот порта Санкт-Петербург в январе-мае возрос на 16% и составил 23,1 миллиона тонн

    Грузооборот порта Санкт-Петербург в январе-мае 2007 года возрос на 16% по сравнению с аналогичным периодом прошлого года и составил 23 090,5 тыс. тонн, сообщает ФГУ “Администрация морского порта Санкт-Петербург”. За отчетный период перевалка навалочных грузов составила 3 624,0 тыс. тонн (+67% по сравнению с аналогичным периодом прошлого года). В том числе перевалка руды составила 319,6 тыс. тонн (+18%), минеральных удобрений - 2 288,7 тыс. тонн (+40%), перевалка угля и кокса составила 1 015,7 тыс. тонн, что в 3,9 раза превышает показатели января-мая 2006 года. За пять месяцев было обработано 243,0 тыс. тонн насыпных грузов (зерно) (+38%). Перевалка лесных грузов в январе-мае 2007года составила 1 081,2 тыс. тонн (-17%). Генеральных грузов было обработано 6 173,2 тыс. тонн (+4%). В том числе черных металлов перевалено 640,4 тыс. тонн (-6%), цветных металлов перевалено 1 039,3 тыс. тонн (-3%), металлолома - 170,6 тыс. тонн (+18%). Тарно-штучные грузы составили 1 646,7 тыс. тонн (+14%), рефгрузы - 810,8 тыс. тонн (+30%), прочие генеральные грузы - 6 885,5 тыс. тонн (+20%). Перевалка контейнеров в январе-мае 2007 года возросла на 9% и составила 680,815 тыс. тонн (5 083,5 teus). Перевалка нефтепродуктов составила 5 082,4 тыс. тонн (+10%).

    Судооборот порта за пять месяцев 2007 года составил 8218 единиц.

    Порт Санкт-Петербург расположен на островах дельты реки Нева, в Невской губе, в восточной оконечности Финского залива Балтийского моря. В границы Большого порта Санкт-Петербург входит дельта реки Нева и Невская губа, Кронштадт и комплекс защитных сооружений Санкт-Петербурга от наводнений (дамба). В период зимней навигации в порту осуществляется ледокольная проводка судов. На территории порта по данным Администрации морского порта Санкт-Петербург, перевалку грузов ведут около 30 стивидорных компаний.
