  Новый прокатный комплекс КУМЗ будет выпускать продукцию для авиа- и судостроения

  Каменск-Уральский металлургический завод создавался как завод специальной металлургии в составе министерства авиационной промышленности для обеспечения самолетостроения полуфабрикатами из алюминиевых и магниевых сплавов. 5 мая 1944 года состоялся пуск первой очереди цехов. Эта дата считается днем рождения завода. Основные мероприятия по празднованию 75-летия ОАО «КУМЗ» проходят в июле 2019 года и приурочены к профессиональному празднику – Дню металлурга.

  Исторически завод, его производственно-технологическая база и интеллектуальные ресурсы, был ориентирован на преимущественное взаимодействие с фирмами, занимающими ведущие позиции в сфере высокотехнологичного производства, представляющими авиационный и ракетно-космический, атомный и нефтегазовый, судо-, авто- и общестроительный комплексы.

  Сегодня ОАО «КУМЗ» - крупнейшее российское многопрофильное предприятие по выпуску полуфабрикатов на основе алюминиевых сплавов, ориентированное на запросы высокотехнологичных отраслей экономики. Оно выпускает: плоский прокат - листы, плиты, рулоны; изделия прессованные - трубы (прессованные, бурильные), прутки, проволоку, профили; кузнечно-штамповочную продукцию - раскатные кольца, штамповки и поковки различной конфигурации.

  У ОАО «КУМЗ» статус инновационного национально ориентированного предприятия научно-производственного профиля, оно активно сотрудничает с ведущими российскими научно-исследовательскими институтами, с авиационными конструкторскими бюро, ракетными центрами; ОАО «КУМЗ» - единственный из металлургических заводов прежнего Минавиапрома, кто остался верен своей авиационно-космической тематике, сохранил базу и широкую номенклатуру изделий для авиационного комплекса и ракетостроения. ОАО «КУМЗ» сохраняет позиции производственно-инженерного центра, развивает уникальные технологии, в том числе в производстве тонких алюминиево-литиевых листов для слоистых композиционных материалов, изделий из пеноалюминия.

  Управляющая компания «Алюминиевые продукты» с 2007 года руководит деятельностью ОАО «КУМЗ», занимается стратегическим развитием бизнеса, связанного с глубокой переработкой алюминия.
