    На Кипре построят первый в стране СПГ терминал

    Стоимость строительства терминала в Василикосе может составить 290 млн евро

    В районе небольшого порта Василикос (Лимассол, Кипр) 9 июля 2020 года проведена торжественная церемония закладки камня на территории будущего терминала для приема и хранения сжиженного природного газа (СПГ), передает портал Cyprus-Mail.

    Президент Республики Кипр Никос Анастасиадес заявил во время церемонии, что строительство СПГ терминала на Кипре «знаменует собой веху в современной кипрской истории».

    «Это проект выводит Кипр на орбиту новой энергетической эры, открывая надежные перспективы как для экономического роста, так и для более широкого процветания нашей страны и ее народа», - приводит слова главы государства кипрский новостной портал.

    СПГ терминал в Василикосе станет первым крупнейшим энергетическим проектом на острове. На объекте будут расположены плавучая система для хранения, переработки и отгрузки СПГ (FSRU), причал, причальные сооружения, трубопровод на причале и другая береговая и морская инфраструктура.

    По планам, строительство объекта должно быть завершено в 2022 году. На Кипрский терминал будет доставляться природный газ, перерабатываться и использоваться для местных электростанций.

    Кипр разделил проект на два этапа: строительство самого СПГ терминала и поставки газа.

    Правительство Кипра объявило запрос предложений на поставки СПГ. На сегодняшний день этим заинтересовались около 25 компаний. Контракты на поставку газа будут заключаться на срок от 3 до 5 лет.

    По словам Никоса Анастасиадеса, стоимость строительства СПГ терминала может составить 290 млн евро. Проект будет частично (101 млн евро) финансироваться в рамках бюджета программы Европейского Союза CEF (Connecting Europe Facility), и частично - за счет кредитов под низкие проценты от Европейского инвестиционного банка (EIB) и Европейского банка реконструкции и развития.

    Контракт на строительство был заключен с международным консорциумом China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering CO LTD, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding, Metron SA и Wilhelmsen Ship Management.

    По оценке властей Кипра, использование СПГ, а не мазута, позволит Кипру сократить так называемый «углеродный след» почти на 30%, а также снизить затраты на производство электроэнергии от 15% до 25%.
